A proper Gallic brasserie just south of the roundabout. The ground floor does steak frites, moules, and croque monsieurs at fair prices. Downstairs is a jazz and blues club with live acts most nights of the week.
Saturday brunch is worth knowing about. They close earlier on quiet nights, so booking is a good idea. The wine list leans French, obviously. One of the few places round here where you can eat well and stay late without it turning into a club night.
