The Good Intent was rebuilt by Courage in the 1930s and has held on to its original three-room layout, fielded panelling, and brewer's rustic ceiling detail intact. CAMRA rates it as a pub interior of special national historic interest. Opens from 7am and draws a local crowd on market days.
