The family behind Fes have been cooking Mediterranean Turkish food for close to twenty years. Recipes come from grandparents’ kitchens in southern Turkey. Charcoal-grilled kebabs are the core, but the mezze selection is wide and the grilled fish is worth ordering when it is on.
Walworth Road location gives it a neighbourhood feel rather than a destination-restaurant vibe. Good for a family dinner or a long meal with friends. The bread comes fresh from the oven.
