Named after the Greek cynic philosopher, which fits. This is not a wine bar that plays it safe. The list pulls from Texas, Poland, China, Georgia, and other places the wine establishment ignores. Many bottles are imported direct from the producer.

Sunny Hodge opened it in the old Rose and Crown pub on the corner of Wadding Street. The vibe is cosy and unpretentious — more neighbourhood local than wine snob temple. Good cheese and charcuterie boards. Dogs welcome.
